Meeting Town is priced to encourage you to use us for as many meetings as you need, and for  discussions of all sizes, as we believe that all types of meetings can benefit from greater engagement. Use Meeting Town for your weekly team meetings, monthly department reviews, and your company all-hands. Meeting Town can even be used for open public meetings.

You can take advantage of ALL of Meeting Town’s features for FREE, including question moderation and user authentication, for up to 12 meetings per month. Hold unlimited meetings for only $67/month.

Meeting Town also places a premium on security for your discussions, especially with the shift towards increased remote connectivity in recent times. All Meeting Town users (even free plans) can moderate questions, and take advantage of meetings where users can authenticate via oAuth (Google/Microsoft) or via email+password. Slido’s free plan will NOT allow you to moderate questions or allow your participants to authenticate via single-sign-on. In order to enjoy those features, you must at least upgrade to Slido’s Pro plan at $99/event or $799/year.

Meeting Town’s user interface is also very intuitive and easy to use, even for first timers. Whereas Slido’s app may take some getting used to, and require you to watch some videos or read some documentation.

How is Meeting Town different from Slido?

During our launch pricing period, you can enjoy all of Meeting Town’s functionality for FREE, including question moderation and user authentication. In order to utilize similar Slido functionality, you must sign up for their Private or greater plans, starting at $99/month.

In addition, we will always allow you to have unlimited event moderators, as we want you to use our app for as many discussions as you’d like. Slido limits you to one admin user until you subscribe to their Pro plan at $349/event or $1,200/year.

Meeting Town focuses on giving your audience and discussion participants a voice, to let you know what matters most to them. This ensures meaningful, transparent discussions, as participants can submit questions anonymously if desired. Slido also allows meeting participants to submit & upvote questions, but primarily focuses on audience polling, which puts the onus on the moderator to come up with potential questions, limiting opportunity to participants to voice their needs.

Meeting Town is designed for discussions of all sizes, from weekly team meetings, to company all-hands. Whereas Slido (with its pricing model) is more conducive to one off large scale events, conference forums and discussions.

Security & Control

Meeting Town events can be securely set up to meet your needs, whether you want to invite specific people, your entire organization, or the general public. Event IDs are obfuscated, to avoid “zoom-bombing” and hackers guessing identifiers. Whereas without a premium Slido account, a hacker or otherwise unauthorized participant can gain access to meetings simply by guessing and entering random 5 digit event codes until successful access.

Once a discussion starts, Meeting Town gives you full control, to review, modify, re-organize and spotlight questions, depending on where the conversation goes. Slido only allows moderators to approve or reject questions, and requires a premium subscription to do so.

Meeting Town even allows you to mark questions to answer later, to take the more complex discussions offline. After your meetings, you can review participant feedback, comments, and send questions out, to encourage your teams to keep the conversation going and improve future discussions. Slido primarily focuses on single one off discussions, without opportunity for offline or ongoing discussion.

Meeting Town offers a modern, easy to use interface that will allow beginners to quickly get up and running. Participants can submit questions with one click, and moderators can just as easily review, edit and approve questions.

We feel that Slido’s design leaves a bit to be desired, but see for yourself…
